Scientific & Regulatory Specialist

CMA is seeking a self-motivated individual to join the association to help strengthen the role of the organisation in advancing the complementary medicines sector by educating, exercising influence, and developing technical proposals in the realm of scientific policy, regulation and public health
The role
Put your scientific judgement to work on the issues shaping complementary medicines regulation in Australia. At Complementary Medicines Australia (CMA), you will progress important work on efficacy evidence, ingredient safety and complex regulatory proposals impacting herbal medicines, biotics, nutrients and other complementary medicines supporting the health and wellbeing of the community.
We’re looking for someone with deep knowledge of complementary medicines regulation, confidence in assessing clinical evidence and the drive to move difficult issues forward. You’ll work directly with members, regulators and a small regulatory team, taking ownership of issues from analysis through to advocacy and follow-up.
