CMA is proud to announce our selection to join the Australian Government’s new Trade Diversification Network (TDN), a key initiative under the $50 million Accessing New Markets Initiative (ANMI).
CMA is one of 40 national peak industry bodies chosen by Austrade to take part in this national effort to expand export opportunities for Australian businesses.
Established to support businesses in navigating global trade shifts and unlocking new growth opportunities, the ANMI will provide coordinated, targeted support through national industry bodies, enabling the development of in-market trade initiatives, enhanced events, business matching, and long-term strategic trade planning.
As a member of the network, CMA will work closely with Austrade to design and deliver strategic activities that help Australian complementary medicines companies diversify their international markets and grow export potential.
“Australia is a trading nation and we want to see more Australian exporters doing more trade with new and emerging partners across the globe in places like the Middle East and Southeast Asia,” said Minister for Trade and Tourism, Senator the Hon Don Farrell.
“The Trade Diversification Network is a great example of government and industry working together to achieve a common goal: seeing Australian businesses diversify, grow, and build resilience.”
For the complementary medicines sector, the initiative will help further strengthen global recognition of Australian-made natural health products as safe, high-quality and trusted.
CMA will work with Austrade and sector stakeholders to identify tailored initiatives that open doors for members in high-growth markets, such as international trade missions, export market development programs, enhanced presence at key global expos, and new ways to showcase Australia’s world-class complementary medicines capabilities.
